Welcome to Module 6: Cells, Cellular Regulation, Genetic Expression, and Cancer. In this module, we will look at cellular regulation and its critical role in maintaining homeostasis within the body. We will look at what happens when cellular regulation goes array and gene mutations are allowed to propagate into cancers. This module goes on to look at oncology nursing, including labs, diagnostics, medical and surgical interventions that the nurse will be involved in, and specific nursing interventions that will be used.
