Nurse Re-Entry Program
The Oregon State Board of Nursing approves this course for nurses that are unable to meet practice hour requirements in Oregon. After completing this course you will meet the requirements to apply for relicensure through OSBN.
Course Requirements:
- Two years of nursing experience
- Have not been out of practice for more than 16 years.
- Have passed the NCLEX.
- No criminal history that would raise public safety concerns.
Recent changes have been made to the nurse practice act. It may be possible for some nurses who do not qualify for this program to retake the NCLEX instead of the nurse re-entry program. Please reach out to OSBN for more details.
