Our Nurse Re-Entry Program supports nurses who do not meet Oregon practice hour requirements to return to their profession.

It consists of 120 hours of online didactic content and 160 precepted clinical hours in your community.

Eligible candidates are those who have been out of practice for less than 16 years, have at least 2 years of nursing experience, and have passed their NCLEX.

We work to individually place nurses according to their scope of practice and skill level during clinical experiences.

Once you complete the Nurse Re-Entry Program, you do not need to take the NCLEX in order to be licensed.

This program is approved for Oregon re-entry, and all clinical experiences must take place in Oregon to meet OSBN requirements.

The didactic portion of the course is delivered online and can be completed at your convenience from any location.

Clinical placements are arranged within driving distance of your home whenever possible. To date, no student has been required to travel more than 45 miles each way for their clinical experience.

Currently, there is a nursing shortage, and we have a 90% higher rate of clinical.
